Mt. Pisgah Amphitheater Improvements
The amphitheater at Mount Pisgah Campground, milepost 408, is about to undergo much-needed repairs. Built in the 1960s, the amphitheater will be outfitted with new seating and an updated electrical system. The area will also be repaved to meet ADA accessibility requirements so more visitors can enjoy experiences like interpretive programs and campfire circles. The project is funded through Congress’ Centennial Challenge program and matching funds from the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
